Marlin,
I was lucky enough to "discover" the car back in '94. Called Mick Price who verified the vin#. After purchasing the car or as Mick said "stole it from the guy", I started collecting parts, and somewhere along the way, made the decision to sell it. I offered it to Mick Price. Mick sold it to Gary Holub, who had the car restored to the condition it is in today. Thanks again for the picture. Kent |

Kent;
When you found this car was there any evidence of the original stripe color? I was wondering if the O-Gold cars came with both black or white stripes. Where/how did you find this one? M

Marlin,
When I found the car, all the Yenko emblems were missing (believed stolen), but the outlines were still visible on the original paint. There were no stripes on the car, and no visible outlines from them either. Which led me to believe, that the original owner removed them shortly after purchasing the car. The only trace of the stripes that I found, was a small section from a black stripe that was wrapped around the front edge of the drivers door (which I still have). Kent |
