Did Cranberry Red Deuces come with black or white stripes? I thought only black.

MikeA;
To our knowledge, the Cran Red Yenko Novas only came with black stripes. This is not to say that it was impossible to get them with white stripes, but we haven't found one yet. (Commonly referred to as 'Candy Caned'). Gary just prefers the whites, along with Cliff and 'Schoeny'. Citrus Green is the only color that we know came with both colors of stripes. We are anxious to see if any Forest Green or Fathom Blue cars received black stripes since that combination was produced in '69.

A Deuce of Deuces ....the lighting was not so good indoor.
I was watching the guys with the Yellow Deuce uncorking the headers in the pits. His wife asked it that was worth it just for one run. I said Yes, her husband said yes, another person there said yes. She said "Oh OK"

Nice picture JoeC, I see from the their surroundings that you were in the showroom a little earlier than I. I had a harder time getting in there at 7:00am since Holub had me outside till 3:00am!! I was there for the second row of cars coming in though.

What was the time for the red Deuce with the WHITE stripes?? That car looks a little familar!!! Wish we could have made the trip. Maybe next year. I just need to take 2 weeks and make this the highlight of the vacation. Did take our blue Deuce to Muscle Car Monday on Labor Day in Langley B.C. and was fortunate to walk away with Best GM and Best of Show out of 200+ cars.

I think it is because the diaphram rides "past center" and gets stuck. This is a result of a misadjusted clutch. Some other manufacturers have centrifugal weights that allow the diaphram to have additional pressure applied at high R's. This additional pressure is probably helpful in returning a stuck diaphram back to position.

- Just my take on it. Anyone know for sure?

The red deuce ET was due to the clutch pedal not releasing!!! Apparently, this is a common problem with the original clutch/pressure plate, ???

Can somebody explain why this happens, and how a Centerforce or Ram clutch prevents it??
