That it is an understatement! The particular argument I was referring to was on a Mustang newsgroup, and the basis for his argument was old magazine tests. He said when the cars were tested originally, they didn't run 12s, but when I pointed out some slow times for the new cars, he said that I dug up the slowest times I could find, and that they were not indicative of the cars true performance. It was real close to being really ugly, but I realized he wasn't going to open his mind, so I pretty much dropped it. Heck, I even invited him to the Pure Stock Drags, but he said they didn't interest him!

As for the Studes, I will have to say that most of them are civil, and have been nothing but positive towards the "encounters" between our cars. But, like any group, they have their bad apples, which seem to get the attention of people like me. As for the comments from those bad apples...while some might call them "put downs"...I call them motivation!

We had a lot of fun with the 'eh's!' with you guys when we were at the Pure Stock race a few years ago, especially with the prior owner of your Cortez Silver COPO Nova. What was his name, and how is he doing? Will he be bringing something to the race one of these years?

Marlin; Paul is doing great. He and some of the boyz are suppose to be putting a road trip together for Michigan for Dan and Bob's race. If you've ever seen the movie 'Road Trip" That's pretty much what it will turn out as. I think he's expecting you and Neil and the rest of that crew. What should I tell him?
