I forgot that some of you "outcasts" were over here from Buick board! I should have been more specific...in '69 the COPOs generally used the block casting "512", which was a pre-cursor of things to come in '70, as it was notched for the longer throw of the 454 crank.
Funny thing, though...seems I keep getting emails about "stroking" this and that...I guess that sort of thing is popular with small block Olds engines... ![]() |
