MikeA;
Neal's car is stock, with the changes allowed by the pure stock drags - dual exhaust with two mufflers rather than one crossflow, jetting and timing. The only advantage that Neal might have is that his car came with 4.56 gears instead of 4.10's. (This is not uncommon, there are three Yenko Novas without 4.10's). I said, 'might' have an advantage, because those gears hurt his 60 foot times so much that Pete Simpson's COPO Nova with 4.10's beat him every time. Neal was faster than Pete through each successive timing increment, but the steep gears put him too far behind during the first 60'. I don't know the best time that Pete's COPO Nova has run, but I believe it is better than 13.45, but with a little less mph. M
