I can understand your Skeptical about this.I only ask that you keep an open mind.I will post the documents I have from the Dealership as soon as I locate a scanner.I am not as computer savy as most, and have limited time on this one now.So far I've heard good things about this website in the past.I realize this is not a Don Yenko or Joel Rosen car so hope that doesn't exclude me from this website.I would like to know if anyone here has seen or heard of these cars? I'm not looking to stir the pot.Just wishing to discuss this intelligently.Or is this the wrong place for that?

This is the right place and you're welcome to post. It is such a unique post that many are skeptical due to the many tall tales told in our hobby. I think posting the paperwork you have would help. If you do not own a scanner, you might try a Kinko's or similiar copy center. They will normally scan documents for about a $1 per sheet. Scanners are down to $100 now.

Read the posts and find it hard to believe that such a major find could lay hidden for so long. The magazines were always hunting up new interesting angles, and it is interesting that even though the car was built for racing it never made the news. Or did it. Maybe you need to hunt up local drag literature and talk to some of the old time racers in your area. Shouldn't be too hard to turn someone up. People usually remember cars with alloy blocks. They were VERY rare. Also didn't usually last very long.
The cars class was probably weight limited anyway so a cast iron block would probably make more sense.

Sorry, Did not mean to offend anyone. I just finished reading an article in Muscle Car review about a guy with a 71 El Camino with a copo 427 in it. Muscle car review set him straight. Im skeptical, but anything is possable.

The selling Dealer is Ray Ridge in Trenton Michigan.They changed names numerous times and then relocated down the street.Today they are Rogers Chevrolet in WoodHaven MI.They have absolutely no records of any cars from back then.The original building has been destroyed.I want to show all the detailed descriptions in the paper work I have.But The scan won't get that close up.I will post the best quality I can get.Appreciate some of you guys listening before passing negative comments.But I do understand where you are coming from.
I will be at ChevyVettefest this Weekend March 3-4..I won't bring my car but can bring copies of this paperwork.If anyone else is going I'd be happy to share it with you there.It reads better in person.
