Ray and others interested,
3919838 turns out to be an early PART number for the closed chamber aluminum head with CASTING number 3919842. I think that this number may have been revised at a later date to reflect the casting number, but 838 is listed as a part number @ 1975. Still checking on 387 and 401... Regards, Stan
