Does anyone have a good picture of a Yenko Deuce hood tach? I am being told that the word "Pontiac" is printed on the face of the tach. I find that hard to believe but a friend of mine insists he saw it in magazine.

Mike A, I believe your friend was refering to the road test that CARS magazine did of a 69 Motion Phase III Nova. That car had the Pontiac hood tach as I have that same article. The one used on the 70 Deuce's was a Dixco unit with a Yenko logo I believe........rat pack....

Rat Pack is correct, the '70 Yenko Novas used a Dixco brand hood tach with the YENKO crest 'inked' onto the bezel. This tach was available over the counter, but had an 'HT/x' logo inked onto the bezel. It is hard to find a Yenko inked tach today, but they are out there.

Hey Marlin, Doesn't the new owner of Chandler's car have a couple of red YENKO Nova's? And wasn't one of them for sale a few months ago on Ebay??

The new owner recently acquired two red '70 Yenko Novas, but they are both sold. One was a project from Florida, and was sold locally. The other was a completed project from South Dakota that was sold, but I don't know who bought it yet. This owner has one of the Huggar Orange '70 Yenko Novas, it will be at Vette-Fest in Chicago this November.
