For someone building a restomod, most of the important stuff is there. What's missing will mostly be custom/aftermarket anyway.

Some decent rust on the birdcage. Suprisingly it appears to still have its original master cylinder.

It's predicted to go a bit above $25k from the voices of the corvette forum. This particular SW will look a whole lot worse before it starts to improve.

The window trim is worth half the final bid. The birdcage is toast--not a good basis for a resto-mod IMO.

And of course, it has original VIN and trim tags, so that's worth something to someone...

Just a curious question for the guys that know and own these SWC?

Just how rare is it to find just the rear windows, plus trim for this car?
Also I’m assuming there is clear and tint glass offered in the back.

Thanks!

This is delusion - that car is worth like $20k
I just sold a pair of rear windows for $1k
Trim is rare but not impossible to find
I surmise if have a Z06 chassis ready for a body this could make sense? I'm at a loss on how it got to $70k but I'm fearful something unholy is about to take place. It doesn't even make sense from a resto-mod perspective either!

Looks like their predictions were a bit low.
