The original owner of my car had 2 Z's and looks like I got the wrong set on my car. Nice matching set of 4 12/1/67 DF wheels but I need 10/67. Anyone that has them and would be willing to trade local in Oregon- Washington.
Thank you, Josh |

If I have studied J.M. DF Wheel breakdown correctly:
Model Year 1968 Z28 Wheels 1967 Date Either Oct or Dec are Version #2 Quote" Version two 1967-1968 Z/28 (later production, Feb 1967- Jan 1968, This version has a large “DF” stamping near the valve stem hole facing towards the center of the wheel. The “DF” letters are approximately 0.285” tall. Version two is not date coded by the valve stem hole. The wheel is date stamped inside, below the “15x6JK stamping, Example: 10 67 would indicate 10th month (October) and the year 67 (1967). " So NO date by the Valve Stem. I understand the Search for the "Right Stuff" but, they will be out of sight. Pulling for you. Hens teeth search Best of Luck

Thanks man, I will definitely use them if I can't find the October ones. Just thought I would throw it out to the right people to see. Mine definitely have a date code by the stem and look exactly like the ones on Chick Renn's car. He thinks he still has the 10/67 space saver but he's an old guy now and the search may or may not ever happen.

This first pic is a wheel from an October of 67 built (10B) RS Z that I looked at in 2017. All of the wheels on this car had the large DF by the valve stem and as I recall no year stamp. The second pic for comparison is one of my wheels on the 67 Z. Good luck on your hunt.
