Is an Import Co. really necessary, where are you located?
Pretty unique car if original, are you seeking a BB or more sedate family wagon?
Best of luck w/ your quest!

no import co. is really needed as I found out from 3 calls to different border stations --- the 67 Caprice wagon on BAT was in Canada and my passport has long since expired --no time to get another prior auction ending --- but really educated myself on vehicle import --
title and bill of sale for a USA built car --- verified this by calling several border stations --
tried and import co. --- they wanted $300 just to fill out docs. and $1200 just to move the car 300 miles from Canada to Montana border --- oh well there is always another

Amazing Wagon if you’re talking VIN 166357L131150, the Alberta ‘67 L36/M40 that sold in June…

Canada built VIN 1663582155130, the ‘68 396 L35/M40 in Fla. that sold in Feb. looked nice too…

As to paperwork and costs to get cars to the border, I’d happily pay it to get the right car as long as the all in # including purchase price made sense.

the 68 in Fla was a little to edgy for me --- the 67 Caprice in Canada was a pretty nice car with a great story and well documented part numbers -- not sure about the story of the motor beibg reunited with the car --- slightly farfetched --- but could be true

Same seller as the ‘68 also has a ‘67 SB Wagon from Georgia available w/ what looks like bodywork/paint touch ups needing correction as below link and pics. The $33 Cdn. = about $25 US so a lot less $ than the ‘68 but still the same cost to get home…https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...code=undefined
Personally, I’d be looking deeper at that ‘68, especially drivetrain to confirm stick wasn’t original before saying no to it myself.
Love your SS427!
