A man was hitchhiking and had been passed by many vehicles.
One finally stopped with a male driver.
After a few minutes the hitchhiker spoke and and expressed his thanks saying;
“ that was good of you and very trusting to pick me up, for all you know I could be a serial killer”
The driver scoffed at the suggestion saying
“ what are the chances of two serial killers being in the same car”.

I see them every week or so also feel bad not stopping being it was how we lived as kids.
Last I picked one up was about 15 years ago, it was a girl so I was thinking, it’s someone’s daughter and some creep may pick her up…so stopped but soon wished I hadn’t, she was wound up on something also had green teeth and stunk up my car so I dropped her off quickly. When I told my wife, she flipped out and reminded me how being I was alone, some chick could claim I put the moves on or was kidnapping her, then gave me a good speech about how picking anyone up these days was risking the well being of our family, not just me etc.
So, with that all in mind, I drive by them now but again, it's hard to do being it’s how we lived growing up/got around/met new friends…the good old world, take me back.
