I believe that may be a picture of Gibb Copo Nova #3 VIN 369583. Listed as Tripoli Turquoise, Harrell 427, with Cragar's on the COPO Connection list. Jude H. found the car in the southwest, New Mexico? It was sold through the Courtesy Chevrolet location in Los Angeles.
If this is #3, I believe the picture is from the original owner. Jude said he had a picture from the original owner, and the emblem was hard to tell if it was black or red. Not sure when delivered to Courtesy via Dick Harrell but shipped to Gibb Chevrolet 7/11/68. I have this note on my sheet when I discussed the car with Jude years ago. I do not know who currently owns it, but pics like these from original owners are priceless. #4 Vin 369657, which is also Tripoli Turquoise, is listed as a non-Harrell warranty replacement 427, so it may not have had 427 emblems installed after the transplant. Joe, do you know which one this picture is from? Last edited by 1stGenFan; Yesterday at 04:01 AM. Reason: additional information |

Early on when the discussion about the Dick Harrell Novas were more & more widely focused upon, I received a call from a person in MN. This was about 35 years ago. Can't recall his name, but remember it ended with "ski." Having that said, I remember him telling of a Nova he owned with DH badging with a history going back to Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ. After the discussion ended, it later was advertised in the NNN publication. I believe this is where Ed may have become involved with #3? |

None of the four DH Novas that went to Courtesy in Phoenix have surfaced. Both Chevelles have. Neither of the two Camaros have. Strangely, one of the DH Chevelles made its way to Minnesota as well.
