Thank goodness. That car is an awesome car to be seen and be seen in. What a great cruiser it must be with that big block torque. The American dream right there.

Chuck Hanson owned (perhaps still does) a ‘70 Chevelle SS LS-5 convertible in a very rare black ext / red int combination with M22. These models are out there but don’t appear often.

Assume the one being shown here has build sheet / POP………nice find indeed.

Had the car in my shop for a month this summer, one of the most solid 70 Chevelle convertible’s I’ve seen, great interior, the console being black looks off but I believe it’s original, drivers inner and outer fender were replaced at one time, great car

does the black/red car have white stripes or stripe delete?

Chuck sold that car a few years ago. I'm pretty sure it was no stripes, at least while he owned it.

It doesn't have stripes,as it came with the standard Super Sport package "Power bulge" hood which didn't include stripes.
And not an official stripe delete car,as it wasn't ordered with a ZL-2 Cowl Ind Hood.
Check out all the A.C.E.S. license plates..
