Default Parked in '73... 2nd-Owner '68 Chevelle SS396/4-sp #s L-78 Project, DOCS

Man...even has the window sticker, POP, sales contract, etc!

Needs everything, but looks solid. Even has the original spiral shocks in place.

Parked for 52 years...incredible.

Interesting car, and great paperwork, but hard to believe it got that rough in only 5 years of driving. Seat looks like 15 years of driving.

Also, how is it still a "one-owner car" when he bought it from the original owner, sold it, and bought it back? The Title might not be updated, but it is still now a 4 owner car.

And who supposedly spends $5K on an engine rebuild and receives it back with the entire aluminum intake painted orange?? I'd have a hard time trusting their internal work under those circumstances!

Nevertheless, hope it ends up with someone who will redo it right!

Yep, the painted aluminum intake is a red flag for sure.

Spent $5K on the engine. That's not much of a rebuild, can hardly buy the parts for that price. Not including labour, then the intake gets painted orange......

I think the 44 years in the leaky barn probably did more harm than the 5 years on the road. And they conveniently don't elaborate on what the $5K worth of 'freshening' consisted of.

That’s a ‘69 #163 intake manifold intended for long water pump applications. It needs to be removed & replaced anyway.

Got a perfect picture of the engine VIN, but not the engine stamp? Or WS?

Wow, quite the story about the degradation. I don't believe it sat IN a barn, maybe next to it, unless the barn didn't have any roof. Paint fade like that doesn't happen in a covered building. The ENTIRE cowl panel rusted away, not just rusty, but GONE ??!!
