This is a question I was asked about the 67 L78 pad picture I posted. Any thoughts on this. Larry

Hello, I just saw your post in the orphan section. That's a nice looking stamp pad. I didn't know the 323 block was used in '67 so I did a little research and found a MQ block built on the same day, July 5th 1967. (Chevrolet by the Numbers, Alan Colvin) but, the partial vin is 252630, a difference of 1,464 cars from the vin on yours. I don't see how this is possible. Could you please shed some light on this? Production was less than 1,000 per day @ Norwood. There is no picture of the stamp pad in Colvin's example. Thanks for any helpful info, always appreciated.
