When I see these things occur and they use such a storied name in such a way I wonder if these manufacturers are really in touch with the consumer? Just doesn’t make any sense.

I don't get their desire to do this with classic names.

Go ahead and build it, but call it anything else. Naming it Camaro (like Ford did with the Mach-E Mustang) only pisses off long-time loyal consumers.
