If the repro 68 Impala emblem is made anywhere near accurate, then that is not the same emblem as in the pics above. The repro is contoured around the edges on the back to fit the grill, and has cast studs: https://www.ebay.com/itm/306269589925

The mystery emblem is flat around the edges (shaped just like a 67 Chevelle rear SS 396 emblem except thicker and the bosses on the back), and has the screw in studs.

Plus that would not explain why there are part numbers on the back for an SS 396 version and an SS 350 version. Or why it feels like it was cast in lead!
