I have ETrack that came installed on my enclosed trailer. Wood floor with heavy rubber mat permanently installed. So, I’m not much help on the installation process. The tracks are installed to be centered on first gen wheel base, but I’ve used it to transport larger wheel base cars where the tires aren’t centered & it worked fine. To be honest, I don’t use the ETrack system when I’m trailering a car short distances. It’s a PITA due to the limited room between the car & the wall of the trailer. The system really comes in handy for tieing down multiple side-by-sides.

Overall (for me), it would be used a lot more on an open trailer, but I’ll get it on my next enclosed trailer just for its versatility in securing other stuff.
