I drove those cars when they were new as a 19-year-old working in the new car dept. at Luby Chevrolet in Boston MA ,,,,Always remember power shifting first to second gear at 6,000 rpms it felt like the rear end was going to rip the leaf springs from the body.

I worked at Luby Chevrolet 1967-1972 test drove all the Hi-Po cars when they were unloaded from the car carrier. My job was inspecting the cars when they were unloaded from the car carrier tag the keys and put a stock number on the car put 5 gallons of gas in them 2 blocks away from the dealer & park them in the storage lot.
