Way cool also weren’t some of Dick’s last racers Hemi powered?
Here’s a few ads for Harrell built Chevrolets that would give the Cuda a go, hope the lad w/ the ‘68 L88 Nova made it home.

Harrell’s long time devotion to the Chevrolet is well embedded into his following. Personally, I have never heard different except the end results was going to Hemi power in his funny car?

Wes Jerde, an engine builder can be associated with DH, who was instrumental in helping convince him to switch to the Hemi for competitive purposes?

Just wondering if this association could have any results of the ad displayed?

Hey Pete. I was able to track the L88 Nova down and did a post on it here at one time.

Yes. He had sold it to a cousin who wrecked the car. Both his cousin and cousin's brother are deceased. We were looking for pics of the car. We have one where it's in the background of the 1st owner.

Cool update on the L88 Nova, bummer the car’s gone but good news the lad got home.
Here’s a couple more pics of the Hemi Vega that may as well land here w/ the others, love to hear of any more Harrell stuff you’ve dug up Wes.
