Specifically,it is an original 1972 assembled CY Turbo 400,and as William said came originally in a 1972 Z/28 Camaro equipped with an LT-1 350/255HP engine only.

Default "CY"

So in 1972 the Z28 had a CY turbo 400 yellow ID tag with tail piece code #8624486. See attached missing photo from original thread indicating that it is a CY not an MY. Also would it be the high shift point? Another note it does not have the "T350?" stamped on the short tail shaft. I believe is the designation if it's not a T475.
