Why do you think there is a band named "Bare Naked Ladies"?

My son wanted to name a band "Free Beer" at one time.

My neighbor has a Porsche/BMW repair facility and he uses no corporate logos to advertise his business. He does use the words "Porsche" and "BMW" but he also includes the word "independent".
Another local guy who sells hotdogs had a business called Franks Anatra. He ran with that name for several years until he was told he had to change it.

The OP has not indicated why he's asking but I'd guess he's not happy with a repair bill or quality of repair.

I think you might be heading down the right path. To some, if the manufacturer logo is displayed, they might be mislead to think the repair station is "factory authorized/trained". They might have it up because they just like them.

Ralph, Do you think the gas station is doing this to deceive people?
Also, do you use this place for repairs on your own vehicles?

I took one of my cars there for annual state inspection They gave me a rejection sticker saying the car needed front end work, new front tires & an alignment. And he said the car should not be driven that it was dangerous So, I went to the independent German car repair shop where I have work done, he adjusted the front wheel bearings & rotated the tires. I went back to the gas station to get reinspected, and they passed it.Looking at this guy's reviews online he does this all the time. He should be on the list to be deported

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, both independent shops and Car dealerships do this often and you have to be skeptical of the Internet reviews.
Word of mouth from someone you know is a good indicator of the shops integrity. Glad you got it straightened out at another shop, most likely with less out-of-pocket expense.
More so than ever, you have to do your due diligence.
