I’m trying to find the number for the SB lower rod on a Nova. The lever and upper rod were shared with the four speed. My parts books and AIM are vague. The 3sp in the AIM is a Saginaw. Anyone have better info, setup in a car or parts in the stash?

Thanks. I’ve looked at that but from what I’ve found I think that is Saginaw so I don’t believe it will work. Although, hopefully I can verify.

			Curiosity kicked in.

Top pic is Muncie Bottom pic is Saginaw. First- reverse levers are in same place. Your pics above show 1 Muncie and 1 Saginaw. First- reverse lever shows same part number for both. Why would the rod be different? |

Thanks for these. That is what I’m trying to verify for sure. Perhaps the shift levers are different on the Saginaw? I’m pretty sure the frame mount lever is different.

If that is out of a 69 that is a Muncie MC1 3 speed. I don't believe a saginaw was offered for the chevelle that year either. There was a saginaw that resembled the muncie. Does the one pictured have the 5/16" two piece ball? Flat side shifter? Bench was flat buckets said muncie, I believe.

See how everything is (ex HD). Also those are the shifter control rods.
