I cut up the left one, as that fender is pretty much trash and it is so bent, I can't get it to lay flat enough on the new one to feel confidant that it's in the correct orientation.
Karl made up a template for the right side from paper and masking tape that fit really well, but think it was slightly off the horizontal plain and the letters look off to me. Could just be an illusion, but I'm very hesitant to drill the left side until the fender is on the car and I can see if they are level. I KNOW, never drill after paint, but I don't need crooked letters to try to straighten out after either. I can dab some paint in the holes for protection.
