Default Clean 46k-mile '69 Camaro, 6cyl/3-sp Stick, Great History

Love this car - I think I'd leave it as is and drive it. I've seen this person posting on the CRG site, wonder why he's selling it - would be tough to replace!

You’d literally be followed home everyday by folks that think they’re gonna buy it for cheap. I drove a similar Survivor-ish car for several months and the first times it’s kinda fun but after too many times it just becomes . . . . weird.

I could totally imagine that. I had a guy after my unrestored L78 car after he saw it parked in Kroger thinking it was an old-man special.

Ditto with me when I drove Jane (my 70 Nova that Tim now owns) as a six banger, three on the tree car. It got old in a hurry.

I actually drove that car! He isnt too far from me in Ohio and met at a car show one day. I had a dealer emblem from where the car was from and told him. Buddy of mine found it somewhere. He wanted to buy it and I said you can have it. Next day we met at Bob Evans and he bought my breakfast and we rode around a while. That may be the emblem on it or he put it on a board. It did have some bondo in the drivers quarter if I remember right. It actual was fun to drive with the floor shift

LOL, Around 1992 I had a 1970 R/T Challenger, Plum Crazy purple with a white top and a white interior, it was all original 383/727 auto and in nice survivor condition as it had several spots on the hood where the Plum Crazy paint was known to flake off.
It was a great driver and I had it stored in the garage waiting to restore it, My 65yo mothers car went in the shop and she needed something to drive and she wasn't comfortable driving my other K5 Blazer so I said drive the Challenger...
Somewhere down the line somebody put 440-six pack emblems on the hood in place of the 383 Magnum emblems, and I knew what was going to happen
The next day she calls and asks why are people waving her down, following her around and leaving notes on the car when she parked it wanting to buy the car. I admit it was great fun to see my 65yo 4'11" mother driving my Challenger for a week...and I sure do miss that, Thank you for bringing back a fond memory.
