Interesting S-code Cougar with uncommon 3-speed manual, factory tach, no radio, no a/c. I don't recall seeing a tach like that in one of these cars but I don't know Cougars very well. Maybe it's aftermarket? S-code Mustang prices are through the roof, this is a more affordable option at $37.9K. VIN: 7F91S555937

Mustang, the poor man's Cougar... My family had a 71 Cougar, 351. I thought I was the king of the streets when allowed to take it out. Girls loved it, my buddies dug it, I was 18.

A friend in Highschool drove a '67 Cougar.
At night he'd always point the ass end out towards the street in a parking lot and then turn on his Hazards. Then hit one of the turn signals too,as he put it,"get the party started"....LOL what a goof,Sequential hazard lights. Last edited by Mr70; 02-24-2025 at 12:38 AM. |

Brother had a 351 4spd 70 Cougar. I just remember the car being somewhat "luxurious, very comfortable and quiet". A lot of creature comforts. Those cars had very nice interiors
