I also am having that experience - been waiting nearly 6 months for a few complete kits of hardware. I am starting to get worried - but glad to hear they always come eventually.

It was a large outlay of cash up front which I’d be reticent to do again.

I have purchased many things from Rich, each takes longer and longer. He just shipped some things to me this week that I paid for about 7 weeks ago. I kind of go into it knowing that I will be bugging him to ship - it eventually comes.

I have no skin in this game, and not sure if that guy Rich visits the site, but maybe someone should give him a heads up that people are starting to get a little leery of his services. See if he can square it away just a thought.

I dint know much about this person or even his service. But reading this I can’t help but think what’s your time worth? What’s the headache worth? Maybe it’s the only place or maybe it’s the best of the best IDK but there got to be some motivating factor for people. To deal
W this situation that they seem worth it. Curious what it is?

I should clarify that I was not bashing- he has been extremely polite in interactions and is putting together a long list of correct fasteners for me that would have been extremely time consuming to source and/or plate and or restore myself. I can certainly understand that takes time.

It’s just the “a few more weeks” then a “few more weeks” that’s making it hard… then many months have gone by when the parts are needed for the restoration to keep progressing. Just knowing it would be 20+ weeks to get them would have been helpful up front for planning purposes.

There was a question on why we chose to purchase… In my case it was by recommendation of some members here, hard to find stuff in a “one stop shop” that you know will be correct for the car.

Default This is the back story on why he is no longer a member/ advertiser

Rich's username was Enoch. He was given an opportunity to respond/share his side, but chose not to.

This is a members car he was restoring:

Here is the member post regarding his missing car:
(It was a very long thread with many members posts, but only SamLBI's initial post is shown now.)

OMG!!

I still see him posting on FB, a lot... a few times even today...

What's the rest of the story on Sam's missing car?... Can't believe I missed that thread.

I have to say this is concerning to say the least... GAH!

I have him as a friend on my car-parts FB profile even...

Holly smokes!! Now I have to know what happened to the car.

Agreed Rick is a pia to get things from, I waited over a year for orders. I did get them after threatening at this point I would go with out rather than deal with it.
