Default RIP - Joe Perri

I saw the news on the NCRS Tech Forum and I wanted members here to learn of the news too - Joe Perri passed away suddenly earlier in the week. He was a true craftsman, friend and gentleman. RIP JP! You will be missed.

Many of us have Gen 4 Restoration radiator caps, oil fill caps, gas caps and quality plating making our restorations more accurate and mechanically sound because of him.

Regards,
Dan

Dan, thank you for posting. Joe was a friend of mine and neighbor of my mom in Chicago. About 20 years ago he was tooling down Leoti Ave in a 1963 Corvette and I stopped him when I was home to visit my mom. We went to the same grade school and high school although Joe was seven years older than me. I have a drawer full of oil caps and radiator caps he rebuilt. I also have his parts on my three 1967 big block Corvettes. Very sad.

Sad news indeed. Just met Joe for the first time in November at MCACN. He snuck up behind me and said "nice looking radiator cap!" Of course it was his workmanship that he was commenting on! Farewell friend!

Well Joe sounded like a nice guy, and craftsman. Is there a guy who has picked up the mantle and repairs radiator caps now?
