Those who know me know how anal I am and was hoping for the car to be closer to original than it was. Don't get me wrong, its a beautiful car and the owner was very honest with me but there were just too many small items missing or incorrect that it would bring the total cost up higher than I wanted it to be. If someone was looking for a very nice car the way it sits, this is absolutely it. I just wanted it to be a little better. Napa68 pretty much hit the head of the nail. I did not even ask if he would negotiate the price as it was the first day on Craigs list so only a fool would lower his price on the first day. Time will tell. Love the car however. I think the bottom line for me was that right now my (1 of 2) dogs needs my attention and money more than me getting another car and that is likely what really talked me out of it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Rick, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

I sure miss that Tahoe. The 2024 can’t stand in the shadow of the 2019. I’m already getting rid of it.

Same to you and yours Nick!

We love the Tahoe but a little surprised on the poor fuel economy. My big diesel bests it by at least 5 gals on the highway. Other than that, it has been a fantastic truck and we love it as do our dogs who rode to the shop with me today. Unfortunately I hit a small deer Monday night on the way to my Fire Department training meeting. Killed the deer but the only damage to the front end was cracked paint. $1172 later and it will be as good as new but not till December 28th. LOL Missed a 12 point buck 2 months ago that ran directly at me at a 45* angle. I swore he left fur on the right front corner but I could not find any. That one WOULD have hurt the truck!

Hey, at least you get to eradicate the rock chips and road rash! I replaced that bumper cover once with an OEM one when my wife pushed the license plate bracket into it.

I recall getting 20-21 on the highway according to the computer. I never verified it. It has the optional 3.42 gear in place of the standard 3.08 which hurts it a little.

The 2024 gets 12mpg around town even with the 10-speed trans. Never gotten better than 17 on the highway. Really disappointed in what GM is putting out nowadays.

I had a 2021 5.3 and I like get 18. Dealer said the diesel gets good mileage. I bought a 2023 diesel and I have gotten 33 and 34 on trips. Dad liked it enough he got a diesel half ton.

Yikes! That sucks for mileage. No wonder you are not happy. I got 25 mph on the way home from buying it from you in Chicago but have only managed a best of 19.6 on the highway since though it only drops to about 17 mpg in town. My crew cab diesel will pull 24 freeway and 17 in town. Love all 3 of my trucks for each of their intended purposes. I was going to sell one when I bought yours but it's been so good I decided to keep it.
