In all fairness - Kurt's post isnt from Mecum - its classic.com which is a website that is a scraper of data and links to sites like Mecum, Sotheby's etc. for content. - titles/descriptions classic.com are not provided by Mecum (or even the seller themselves) . Most descriptions on that site are "original & highly original" which is just a field that is filled in by (unknown to me how its done tbh).

What do you think about the f41 susp. leaf spring plates, would those be original to the car.

Nice catch...those are a late 1970 and up item for the Nova with the funky sway bar. They do not belong on a 1968 model...

The trans appears to be stamped over, not a double stamp. I have lots of 70 BB stamps but no 68's to compare the engine stamp to.
