For those of us who have lived our entire lives, close to the woodlands of northern MN and WI, those local bar/restaurants all have their own personality, but are clearly identifiable as, "Up 'Nort" by the decor consisting of wooden tables, mounted fish, and other, assorted animals.
Tim's mention of fresh Walleye kind of got me thinking I need to drive a couple hours north soon and reacquaint myself with that country.
