Those parts are perfect candidates for non-acidic, chemical cleaning. I have large parts cleaned this way and then dipped in EDP for 100% coverage.

Obviously, you aren't going to use the same place as it is near Milwaukee, WI, but I would call and ask them if they know of a similar business in the central FL area.
This is a link to the business and, no it isn't close to me, but I feel the 600 miles R/T is worth the result. Hopefully you can find something similar closer to your local than I have to travel...
