I tend to believe this was bought for a '67 GTO I built many years ago, but does anyone have an old catalog or list of part numbers for this shifter ? I'm very interested in all the applications. Doing further research I see there are part numbers on the arms themselves and the body #2083 comes up as being applicable with Ford shifters too. I'm going to clean the arms good and post the arm numbers too, in the hope this could be a learning tool for me, and others, with old shifters and, seemingly, no tangible documentation of what they were originally intended for.

Mitch, these pages may help you understand why pinpointing application is so difficult, and where the "4" comes in?
The stick in my 'ol red car is very similar your's.

Thanks, Bill. Reading that, the 6 digit number is a combination of the parts as an assembly. The 4-63 matches the diagram, 3rd from the left, on the top row, but I can't read the 4 digit part numbers for the different length handles. If one of those handle numbers is 3561, the 6 digits kind of makes sense, although it seems it is missing another 3 for the handle number. I measured my handle at about 11" from the weld to the top of the threads. It would be interesting to see if one of those handles was about that length and was numbered 3561.
