Celebrity ownership doesn't do much for me, even Steve McQueen.

The exception would be a "movie" vehicle that was purchased by the actor after the film was completed.

Examples:

The Mustang from Bullitt (which he did not buy)
The motorcycle from The Great Escape (don't believe he bought it).
The Ferrari that McQueen drove in The Thomas Crown Affair. He actually DID buy this one. Not sure where it is today.

I saw this at Mecum Indy as well. The thing that struck me a little odd was the shiny painted top I thought those were supposed to be more of a matte finish.
