In case anyone can use this help...
I found a fella thru a fella on the Sun Facebook "Sun" gauges site that replaced the glass lens on my SST802-2. Cleaned up the pointers also. He told me my tach had a weak signal but didn't have the means to do that kind of repair work. Cost me around $75.00 including shipping, turn around was about a week or so. If anyone knows of a repair shop to fix the weak signal reasonable, please advise. I did check out Williamson's and Tachman, but money is tight for this old man right now, and probably for all of us. Also, If I didn't mention this in any of my previous posts, I found this site online "GMC Jewerly" who did the retro-fit electronics in the EB-9A I had, and I sent in the SST90 for calibration. Cost was less than $100 with shipping. Turn around time was less than a week, located in D.C. I posted a before and after pic on the lens replacement, and pic of the set up I'm seriously thinking of using on my 69 Camaro....for the green back lighting.
