Thank you Paul, Eddie, yes on every car I restore. Unfortunately since I am not a production shop when it comes to W/W motors nor do I have the vast parts inventory they do I am more expensive then the guys that do nothing but motors.

The way the two halves are attached is what makes these interesting. I hate when I see them installed using rivets.

I know that this is an old thread. I believe that Steve Hackel (Midlothian, IL) was sick. Now, I can't get a return call. Does anyone know if he is OK? Still in business?

Thanks

Default Steve Hackel

Yes, Steve is still in business. Just spoke with him late last week.

Caution, however...

As an update to my earlier post, when he hung up on me in the middle of our conversation, I waited a day to attempt a second apology. He took the call this time, but, hung up on me again, after 45 seconds.

My mistake was I left out of the shipping box my actual name and phone number. I had quickly written out, on a pad of paper, the make, model of the wiper motor, but brain-farted on adding my name and contact information. Steve's quote to me was, "You lazy people make me sick and since you're too lazy to include your information, I dont have time for you"..click- he hung up.

By the way, there is no order form, so all your data MUST be written out on a pad of paper. Good luck with guessing all the data he requires.

And, at least, he shipped my motor back to me.
