Here are a few pics the original owner of my 67 z sent me of the GTO he bought new (then later traded on the Z). A couple of these pics are at a GM plant in the Flint area. I suspect the timing equipment was provided by the Firebirds car club at GMI.

That ‘64 has the 1965 Custom wheel disc on it.
The exhaust splitter mount looks exactly like it should be. Cool photos, Thanks for sharing!

Oh, a few more pics.
The yellow throttle return spring is in an odd place. Looks like the Custom disc and splitters are gone. Never seen an antenna extended out that far before. Outside rear view mirror was there and now it’s not ??

Chris, I saw that too on the spring and custom bracket forward of it. The center carb throttle bracket looks strange too. I'm assuming this was part of deleting the factory vacuum linkage?
