Dang Darrell, I'm not seeing the tabs and know what they should look like. There was a short period of time when the bumps were there but no tabs. I see what seems like a slight bump out or reflection but I'm not sure there are any tabs there????

The tabs are at the lip where it folds over onto the inner structure. That was how the skin was attached at the back. Here's a pic of mine. You can can barely see 2 tabs peaking out from under the burn blanket. In your original pic, I see the raised area of 2 on yours, but they aren't as defined because of sealer and paint.
My lid is an over the counter replacement from a very early crash repair and has no date stamp either. My lid looks identical to your pics. I did find what may be an inspector stamp of "L" on 1 rib of the bottom side, but that is all.

I also stated previously that all GM deck lids have welded nuts visible inside the bolt holes unless someone can prove me wrong. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=143742

I am pretty sure Classic Camaro sold them in the late 80's. I used to have an old catalog somewhere.
The one I have was bought in 1994 from Year One and they rated it #3 quality. It is on the car now and fits decent. Mitch, why did you weld on your deck lid?

I, also, lied about it not having a date code. I forgot about this.. and have no idea what it stands for. Mine does not have the extra hole associated with an over the counter lid, as referenced in CRG. It does have an extra slot, assume, for moving the emblem up with a spoiler ? Interestingly, it has no mounting holes for the emblem and never did have. Maybe it was an used lid from a Firebird when the car was repaired ? Lord knows, it had plenty of dents on the top side, that would not have been related to a right rear collision.

The long-gone nos deck lid that was pictured @ Heartbeat City shows no emblem holes nor any tabs unless hidden.

But that was an over the counter replacement with the extra slot in the center. Mine doesn't have that.
