The cage pictured above looks like a modern cage, I've had similar stuff put in over the last 20 years.
While this thread is not about the '67 car you guys do a good job to point out everything that substantiates that IV was a '68. |

We removed a few posts that contradict the known history of IV, they are under review.

Cross between that and Area 51.
![]() Back to IV.... My friend in NC is talking to some of his contacts to nail down who had the supposed car in that storage place by Camp Lejeune in the 90s. |

Before getting back on topic I want to point out a couple things:
All evidence points towards Grumpy's Toy IV being a 68 and none of it points towards it being a 67 In these pics posted earlier, you can also see Grumpy's car had the dash vent, most know these are only on 67's with A/C but are on all 68's as they were also part of the astro ventilation system, but since this car has no vent above the heater controls for A/C that means it's dash board came in a 68 non A/C car. Also the roll bars are not even close to being the same, some bars at different angles, intersections, elevations, and even non existent, there is just no way these two cars are the same, only thing confusing is what Grumpy has in his hands, my wife thinks it's a sandwich but I think it's a bird |

Nice pics.
IV had to have had a cage upgrade from the 3 point since it was raced locally until the late 70s. |

I don't think this adds anything to the conversation but I don't believe I've seen this picture posted here before.
