Nicely optioned (per Canadian docs) with factory M22/4.10 posi, cowl induction, etc. It lost its original M22 and seems to have a ‘70 Chevelle unit. It also lost its white vinyl top during restoration. I think the ZP2 color override is for the blue interior which wasn’t recommended with LeMans Blue IIRC.

The seller states that the block has been decked so no DZ stamp. He shows a nice deep visible VIN stamp by the oil filter. I notice it is not in a straight line as mine is for example on my Z. The #2 is higher than the rest. With them using a gang stamp tool, is that offset stamping common?

There is no way that stamping is original, he says as much. And being an Ontario/Quebec car, if it has the original floors, trunk and quarters I will eat my hat. Pretty car though.

And the surface seems to be smooth, the rough grain gone. I'm like you I question the crisp deep VIN stamp, but I am no expert. Just one of those crazy "purists" that believes everything should be on the up and up and an honest description and honest sale!
