Same here. He responded to three of my ads this am.
Has email, phone number, no funds sent.

I was also contacted by this person, He said he had a part that I have listed in the parts wanted section, seamed really fishy with only one post and recently joining. He supplied a direct email to contact him there which to me is a red flag. Great to see you guys on this type of stuff!!

He contacted me about a Hemi K frame today.

Yep! He responded to a wanted ad that I had. I saw he had only 1 post and was banned, so I came to this thread to check. His [email protected]

When you place a wanted ad always be diligent validating the member contacting you.

*How long has he been a member

*If they offer you an item I would request they become contributing/paid member.

*If they provide an email or phone do a google search. I get a hit that they are scammers 90% of the time. This last scammer was difficult because he was shielded by a VPN.

We all need to be diligent and not give them benefit of the doubt.

Thanks to the members who alerted me and help prevent members from getting ripped off!
