By assembly line I am assuming you mean with the silver "28" instead of the white. Is that correct? Are you wanting nos or used?

Here is what I got. Two NOS silver “28” fender emblems, never mounted with the rubber filled nuts. One used silver “28” tail panel emblem with the rubber filled nuts. One silver “28” NOS tail panel emblem without the nuts. Have no idea what happened to them. One white “28” NOS tail panel emblem, also without the nuts. Looking straight on, it is very difficult to tell a white from a silver. I took one picture from an angle that makes it very clear.

I do not have a grill emblem; just the backer plate for one. PM me if interested.

Yes, looking for the "silver" ones. Part numbers on the back would be: Fender emblems 3949681-LH 3949682-RH Tailpan 8701333 Grille 3949517 but this part number does not appear on the back of the emblem Ty, Doc |

My fender emblems are both numbered 3949681-2. 1-2 ending normally indicates right or left side. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these and the 3949681-LH 3949682-RH emblems, other than the numbering? The ones I have are identical to the ones on my car; all bought in 1977.
