I guess that was not quite as explicit as I had hoped, for 70 passenger car VIN:
It would be "model" type for a Chevelle 2 door hardtop, a "zero" for 1970 model year, the assembly plant code, and then the sequential portion of the VIN. Thirteen characters total.
