I don't believe you can tell an SS on a 70 Nova from the trim tag.
144 is V8 (but does not tell you if it was SBC or BB). 27 = two door 45 paint is green mist. Car is 52 years old, so things could have been changed. But, if it was an SS, I believe it would have come with power front disc brakes. Pretty sure the Nova used a different heater core for BB the way first gen Camaros did; in fact, same heater core and heater box cover. That would be a clue.
