This block has found a home for an early October Z28. On it's way to South Dakota today. Thanks for letting me post this

1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 block.

I have a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 HP with 4 speed bare block and thought it would be good to post the data here in case the car still exists. Feel free to share this information anywhere that may be helpful to others.

It's a Fremont built car that is stamped 119z348164 and T0418JA. Casting 3955272 with date code C 27 9 for reference.

I believe this would be 136379Z348164 for a coupe and 136679Z348164 for a convertible?

Being a local (to me) built car, it may still be around here... The block is clean and mag'd good and is only .030 over bore (with some wear), so I'm not sure why it didn't stay with the car?
