I would think if a car is so interesting, it would have been trailered to Grumpy's home before he passed to atleast get his opinion. Pretty cool to learn it was a 67 z/28 to begin with (according to the story board with the car). The VIN or cowl tag should atleast confirm that, which is neat in itself.

Take note that everytime the car is shown the cowl tag is covered with a piece of duct tape. Toy IV was butternut yellow from the factory. There is pictures of grumpy sitting in toy IV back in the day with the door open to confirm this. In the same pictures the supposed penski rollcage is nowhere to be seen. There are pictures of the car when Brooklyn heavy owned it and still no Penske installed roll cage. The guy who owns this car contacted Jenkins while grumpy was still alive and was promptly hung up on. There is alot more to the story if you look into the background on this car.

When Dale and Vicki Bolla discovered Grumpy's Toy IV, I contacted Vicki and she told me that Grumpy's Toy IV started as a 1967 Camaro and it was the same Camaro that Bill Jenkins raced the 1967 Toy III. It was born as a red Camaro.
Everyone knows that Grumpy's Toy IV was a 1968 SS RS L89 Butternut Yellow Camaro. Grumpy's Toy III has been known for many years. Dale and Vicki Bolla contacted Bill Jenkins and wanted him to verify that they had Grumpy's Toy IV. Bill Jenkins went there and looked at the car but did not verify the Camaro. He was upset that he had spent a whole day going there to look at it. What they say they who know is that it is a 1967 Camaro ex SCCA race car
