1970 LS6 Convertible

----A lot of goofy stuff under the hood. Wrong master cyl, chrome radiator cap, body colored firewall, etc. So,,,To say only LS6 convert produced as equipped is rather strange! We all know of several LS6 converts done far more originally than this. Chris and Rick's restorations come to mind along with others. I also noted those great headrest covers.....Bill S

got a possibly dumb question. anyway those headrests could be original to this car??? heres why i ask. a guy i know has an LS6 convert and has owned it for a very long time. got it from the original owner. has lots of paperwork and back in the early 70's pictures. a couple of months ago i was helping him move some stuff around and he had the top down and i saw the headrests which are identical to these but a different color. i mentioned to him that those werent correct for the gm A body buckets and he said hmmm no idea thats what was on it when i bought it and the old pictures of the car when fairly new show it with them on it. so any ideas?????

No,they are 100% incorrect for this cars bucket seats.

thats exactly what i thought but when i saw this one and his i thought maybe it was a deal for some reason. i do find it interesting on my buddys car that they have been on there since the early 70's for sure and why were they changed.
