Agree, would this restrict oil flow some? Best oil filters on the market today are Motorcraft, Bosch, Purolator. BEST engine oil tested by an engineer, Quaker State 10W30 Full Synthetic oil. RAT540 blog is where you will find all his results what filters and oils he has tested. This engineer backs up his tests with proof.
