----I ordered a 73 Grand Am Super Duty. Kept asking for updates and the dealer kept waffling! One of my bigger mistakes was cancelling the G Am altogether and reordering, of all things, a 73 Riveira GS. It came in and I knew it was a bad decision, but bought the car anyway. Kept it 5 months till I figured out what to do with it, and traded it in to Knafel Pontiac for his wife's 72 Trans Am driver. It actually worked out. Bottom line,,,they never built one!....Bill S

Wow. I have never ever seen an SD Grand Am for sale. I wonder how many they made? I would thing they would be huge money cars.

None - that's the answer. Only available in the Trans Am and Formula Firebirds. There is a pale yellow one that someone created as a WHAT IF car.

My answer still stands. NO ONE . . . repeat . . . NO ONE could walk into their Pontiac dealer and order . . . AND RECEIVE an SD455 Grand AM. Only a Trans Am or Formula Firebirds.

IF . . . Pontiac made one for themselves - so what? Ever see the photo of Zora driving a 1969 LS7 454 Corvette? Manufacturers make mules and experimental cars all the time. I have posted many of them.
